Residents looking to give back to their community will have the chance to connect with local organizations at the upcoming Milton Volunteer Fair.
Co-hosted by Milton Mall and Volunteer Halton, the event will take place on Wednesday, March 25th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Milton Mall, located at 55 Ontario Street South. The fair is designed to introduce prospective volunteers to a variety of non-profit organizations seeking support for upcoming programs, events and seasonal initiatives.
Organizers say the event is a great opportunity for community members of all backgrounds. That includes students, newcomers, older adults and those looking for short-term or flexible roles who can meet face-to-face with local groups and learn more about how they can get involved.
Participating organizations will be on-site with displays and information about their work, offering attendees the chance to explore volunteer roles that match their interests and availability.
