The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is searching for multiple suspects following a home invasion in Milton that left a woman with minor injuries.
It happened at around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18th at a residence in the area of Rose Way and Wellwood Terrace. Investigators say approximately five male suspects wearing face coverings forced entry through the front door and confronted a woman inside the home.
Police say the suspects demanded money, and stole cash and designer clothing before fleeing the residence. The victim was physically assaulted during the incident and suffered minor injuries.
Officers say no weapons were seen and there is no ongoing risk to public safety as the investigation continues. Police are working to identify the suspects and a possible suspect vehicle, and are asking anyone with security or dash cam footage from the area at the time to come forward.
