A recent Cupcake Day fundraiser hosted by Town staff has raised funds in support of the Alliston & District Humane Society.
The lunchtime event brought staff together to raise $430 for the local shelter, with all proceeds going toward providing essential food, shelter and medical care for animals in need. Organizers say the fundraiser offered a meaningful and enjoyable way to support an organization that plays an important role in the community.
The Town is thanking everyone who baked, purchased and contributed to the initiative, noting the support will make a difference for local animals.
