The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is inviting the community to support local food banks during its 5th annual Cram-A-Cruiser food drive this weekend.
Organized in partnership with the South Asian International Support Network, the food drive is being held in honour of Ramadan, a time focused on reflection, generosity, and community support.
Residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations, which will be distributed to food banks across Halton to help families in need.
It takes place Saturday, March 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Desi Mandi, located at 1515 North Service Road in Burlington.
Police say every contribution helps, and community members are encouraged to stop by and help “fill hearts by filling the cruiser.”
