100 Women Who Care Milton is getting ready for their second gathering of 2026.
The group gets together to listen to presentations from three local charities. They then votes and awards one charity with a donation from each member. Traditionally, the donation is $100 per member, but has been done on a ‘donate-what-you-can’ method since the pandemic.
In January, they chose Community Closet as the awarded charity. $11,600 was given to the organization that helps “Milton families with good quality women’s, children’s, and men’s clothing and shoes, at no cost to them.” They will attend the upcoming event to share how the funds helped their organization.
On Wednesday, April 8th, 100 Women Who Care Milton will head to Uncle Sam’s Bar & BBQ at 370 Main Street East in Milton. The restaurant is planning on donating 10% of their sales for the evening to the cause. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., and is expected to run for roughly one hour.
