Tickets are now available for the 2026 International Women’s Day Luncheon, hosted by Halton Women’s Place.
The 15th annual event will take place Thursday, March 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., bringing the community together for a morning of connection, reflection and impact in recognition of International Women’s Day, officially marked worldwide on Sunday, March 8th. The luncheon supports programs and services that help women and children in Halton build safer, brighter futures.
This year’s event will feature guest speaker Fallon Farinacci, a proud Red River Métis speaker, survivor and advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). Farinacci uses her platform to share her family’s story, raise awareness and advocate for Indigenous women, girls and 2S+ people across Turtle Island.
The luncheon will also include a vendor marketplace highlighting women-led businesses and a hot buffet lunch.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. Those interested in partnering with Halton Women’s Place can contact Melissa Hyslop, Event Specialist, at mhyslop@haltonwomensplace.com.
Organizers encourage residents to secure their tickets early and join in commemorating International Women’s Day while supporting women and children in the community.
This event will be held at the Holiday Inn in Burlington, located at 3063 South Service Road Building 2.
