The Pride Halton Parade and Pride in the Park 2026 are set to return to Milton this summer, promising even bigger and more vibrant celebrations.
Hosted by Pride Halton, the 4th annual Parade will take place on Sunday, July 19th, along Main Street in Milton. It will then be followed by Pride in the Park. The day is expected to be a free, family-friendly celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and allies from across Halton and beyond.
What began four years ago as a vision to create visibility and belonging has quickly become one of the region’s most anticipated summer events. In 2025, thousands attended the parade and park celebration, connecting with community organizations, enjoying live entertainment, and celebrating together in an inclusive environment.
Organizers say 2026 will feature expanded programming, more community groups and partners, and new opportunities to participate – all while maintaining the welcoming, grassroots spirit that defines the event.
“Each year our community shows up with more heart, more energy and more pride,” says Melanie Tremills, Executive Director. “As we prepare for our fourth celebration in 2026, we are excited to grow the parade, expand Pride in the Park, and create even more opportunities for people to feel seen, valued and connected.”
There are several ways to participate in Pride Halton 2026:
- March in the Parade – Community organizations, businesses and individuals are invited to walk and show their support.
- Become a Vendor – Connect with thousands of attendees in a lively festival setting.
- Volunteer – Assist with event set-up, guest greeting and more.
- Sponsor Pride – Support visibility, inclusion and one of Halton’s fastest-growing regional events.
Additional details about entertainment, stage programming and special announcements will be released in the coming months. Sponsorship packages are now available.
