The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB), in partnership with Halton Region Public Health and the Halton District School Board (HDSB), is inviting parents and guardians to take part in an upcoming virtual webinar focused on children’s relationship with food.
The session, titled Shaping How Kids Feel About Food – Mindful Language and Everyday Actions, will feature a Registered Dietitian from Halton Region Public Health. The webinar will explore how children’s eating habits are formed, the role of body image and health considerations, and practical strategies families can use to create positive and supportive food environments at home.
Organizers say the session is designed to help parents and caregivers better understand how everyday language and actions around food can influence children’s long-term attitudes toward eating and health.
The virtual webinar is taking place on Tuesday, February 10th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Register in advance here.
