The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is searching for an unknown man after a theft case at a local grocery store.
Back on Friday, October 17th, at roughly 11:00am, an elderly female victim went to the Fortinos grocery store at 173 Lakeshore Road West in Oakville to purchase her groceries. Her wallet was stolen and her bank cards were later used make fraudulent transactions at a TD ATM, Apple Store, and Shoppers Drug Mart located at Square One in Mississauga.
A description of the suspect has been provided by the HRPS:
- Male
- Hispanic
- 25-35 years-old
- 5’10”
- 230lbs
- full beard
- wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and black sunglasses
