The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) will host its fifth annual Skilled Trades Career Fair next month.
It will offer students and families an opportunity to explore skilled trades as a post-secondary pathway.
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28th, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School, located at 1145 Bronte Street South in Milton, and is open to students in Grades 7 through 12 along with their families. The fair will provide information on what a career in the skilled trades involves, how to become a skilled tradesperson, and the wide range of apprenticeship programs and career options available.
Attendees can also take part in hands-on activities and network with representatives from educational institutions, industry leaders, and professionals working in both the trades and education sectors. Families are encouraged to sign up in advance for planning purposes, with additional details available here.
If you’re looking to attend with your family, sign up here.
