A Milton retiree is celebrating a $100,000 lottery win!
Vivian Doria matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the November 25th, 2025 LOTTO MAX draw, earning her the six-figure prize. The 69-year-old has been playing OLG lotteries for more than 35 years and says she always adds ENCORE, sticking with the same numbers connected to family birthdays and the year her siblings came to Canada.
Doria discovered her win while checking her ticket at a store, where a “Big Winner” message appeared on the screen.
“Through tears, I asked the store clerk if I was seeing things right,” she said while picking up her cheque at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “He looked at the screen, smiled wide, and said, ‘Yes, you just won $100,000!’ I was so overwhelmed I almost fell to the floor!”
She immediately called her husband to share the news.
“At first, I was so overwhelmed that I could barely get the words out. I said, ‘I won, baby! I won!’ and my husband began crying too. We were both filled with disbelief and gratitude.”
Doria added that the timing of the win was especially meaningful after her family dealt with a major flood in their home over the holidays. She plans to use the money for savings, investments, and home renovations, noting that she isn’t planning anything extravagant.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Derry Road West in Milton.
