The Town of Halton Hills has opened applications for its 2026 Community Grant Program, with funding available to support local projects, events, and initiatives that strengthen volunteer capacity and help build a vibrant, connected community.
Eligible applicants include local not-for-profit organizations, neighbourhood groups, and community partners. The updated program replaces the former Community Partnership Program and Climate Change Investment Fund, and has been refreshed based on community and stakeholder feedback.
The new Community Grant Program includes four funding streams:
- Community Investment Projects
- Environmental Stewardship
- Neighbourhood Projects
- Special Events
Mayor Ann Lawlor says the program helps bring community-driven ideas to life, whether residents are organizing neighbourhood initiatives, planning events, or taking action to improve the environment.
Applications are being accepted until Friday, February 27th at 4:00 p.m. Applicants are encouraged to review program guidelines and apply online.
Town staff are available to provide guidance throughout the application period, and a Community Grant Program Open House will be held on January 29th at the Mold-Masters Sportsplex, where organizations can learn more and speak directly with staff.
