Looking for a fun and healthy way to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year?
The Town of Milton is encouraging residents to skip the sweets and give the gift of activity instead.
They’re offering a special Valentine’s promotion that allows residents to purchase a booklet of 10 activity coupons for $7. Each coupon can be redeemed for a drop-in swim or skate and is valid for children 12 years of age and under.
Town officials say the initiative is aimed at promoting physical activity while offering families an affordable option for Valentine’s Day. The coupons provide opportunities for children to stay active during the winter months while enjoying local recreational facilities.
The coupon booklets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be purchased through customer service at the Milton Leisure Centre, Milton Sports Centre, Sherwood Community Centre, and Mattamy National Cycling Centre.
