The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed the death of the missing Georgetown man.
It was originally reported that the missing man had last been seen this past Saturday in the area of Elizabeth Street and Ewing Street in Georgetown.
A second update was then issued, with an image placing him on-foot in the area of Guelph Street and Armstrong Avenue in Georgetown on Sunday afternoon.
At the request of the HPRS, we have removed all photos of the man from our sites. As a preemptive measure, we have also removed his name from this article.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) need your help in finding a missing Georgetown man.
The 48-year-old was last seen the afternoon of Saturday, January 10th in the area of Elizabeth Street and Ewing Street in Georgetown.
He is described by the HRPS as:
- Male
- White
- Approximately 6’1” tall, 200 lbs. Athletic build
- Blue eyes, salt and pepper hair and beard
Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.
Anyone with information about his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.
