
Halton Hills Library (via Google Maps)
Families in Halton Hills can take part in ‘Snow Days at the Library’, a series of free, drop-in winter break programs hosted by the Halton Hills Public Library.
The literacy-based activities are designed for all ages and run daily from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted, at both the Acton and Georgetown branches. Programming begins Monday, December 22nd at the Georgetown Branch with Decorate a Gift Bag & 3D Print a Snowman, which combines hands-on crafting with 3D printing.
Other activities throughout the break include:
- Winter Scavenger Hunt on December 23rd
- LEGO Challenges and Big Blue Blocks building sessions at both branches
- Sunday drop-in Board Games afternoon on December 29th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Creative programs such as Winter Rock Painting on December 29th, Get Ready for New Year’s! crafts on December 31st from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Community Colouring on January 2nd round out the schedule.
All Snow Days programs are free, drop-in, and do not require registration.
