The Halton Regional Police (HRPS) has arrested a registered massage therapist working at a Burlington spa following an alleged sexual assault case.
Police were contacted after a woman reported being sexually assaulted while receiving a massage at Be Pampered Spa, located at 700 Guelph Line in Burlington. Investigators allege the incident occurred during a recent appointment at the business.
On Monday, December 15th, 69-year-old Li Ming “Leslie” Qu of Toronto was arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Police say the accused also works at a second Be Pampered Spa location in Burlington and believe there may be additional victims. They note that there is no statute of limitations on reporting sexual assault and encourage anyone with information or who believes they may have been victimized to come forward.
