Milton Transit is introducing winter service changes next month, including minor schedule adjustments on several routes and the launch of a new school-focused route.
Updates will take effect on Route 1 (High Point), Route 8 (Wilmott), and Route 21 (Steeles). Milton Transit is also adding a new School Extra route, 53A, which will serve students in the Walker neighbourhood travelling to and from Milton District High School. Morning and afternoon trips are scheduled to line up with school bell times.
They say the adjustments are intended to improve timing and overall system efficiency.
The changes begin Monday, January 5th.
