The Helson Gallery has launched three winter exhibitions that highlight both local artistic talent and a century of Canadian watercolour excellence.
The Annual Holiday Show and Sale of Local Artists runs until February 1st, offering handcrafted gifts and artwork in the Upper Sisnett Lobby.
Two juried exhibitions marking the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colours will also be on display until February 1st, featuring a national Members Exhibition in the Helson Gallery and the first-ever Associates Exhibition in the Lower Sisnett Lobby.
Founded in 1925, the CSPWC’s history is reflected in works by 35 elected members along with pieces from emerging associate artists.
The exhibitions take place at the Helson Gallery, which can be found at 9 Church Street in Georgetown. Hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
