The Milton Menace were able to come away with two wins this past weekend.
On Friday, December 5th, the Menace welcomed in the King Rebellion to the Milton Memorial Arena.
Milton started the scoring off, with Alec Stewart getting his 10th of the year late in the first period, assisted by Tristan Tremble and Gabriel Ciarallo. It was 1-0 Menace after 20 minutes of action.
In the second, King would tie it up at the halfway mark. Milton eventually took the lead back, with Ivan Fabjan finding the back of the net on the powerplay. His 9th of the year was assisted by Tremble and Ashtyn Pacheco. Milton led 2-1 heading into the second intermission.
The Menace then dominated possession in the final period, outshooting the Rebellion 12-7 despite having the lead. That helped Matthew Babiy score his 13th of the season late in the game. Tremble once again got an assist, alongside Dante D’Andrea, to add to his three point night. Milton beat King 3-1.
Austin McKillop was in net for the Menace. He stopped 19 of 20 shots for the even .950% save percentage and the win.

The next day, the Menace travelled all the way to Lindsay for a road game against the Muskies.
With the man advantage, Dean Deligeorgis was able to score his 2nd of the season, assisted by Ashtyn Pacheco and Tristan Tremble. Milton was unable to take the small lead into the intermission as Lindsay tied it up with just over a minute to go. It was 1-1 after 20 minutes of action.
No one scored in the second period, as the Menace outshot the Muskies 13-7.
In the third, Pacheco scored a goal of his own. His 16th of the season was assisted by Deligeorgis and Captain Graeme MacAuley. Lindsay once again tied things up late in the frame, which caused the game to go into overtime tied at two.
Nothing happened in the first overtime period, but it was the star of the weekend who came to the rescue in the second overtime. With just eight seconds to go before the game would’ve ended as a tie, Tristan Tremble found the back of the net. His 10th goal of the season and 5th point of the weekend clinched the Menace double overtime win, 3-2 over Lindsay.
Carter Froggett was the netminder for Milton. In nearly 70 minutes of gameplay, he stopped 30 of 32 shots. That gave him the .937% save percentage and the win.
Next up for the Menace is a road game against the Caledon Admirals on Thursday, December 11th. Game time at the Mayfield Recreation Complex is set for 7:30 p.m.
They then return home on Friday, December 12th to host the Buffalo Jr. Sabres. That one starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Milton Memorial Arena. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
