Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. on-stage at Miracle on Main Street in 2019
The Town of Milton is advising residents of road closures ahead of the Miracle on Main Street celebration taking place this weekend.
On Saturday, December 6th, Main Street East will be closed between Martin Street and Fulton Street/Millside Drive, along with Charles Street between Main Street East and Mary Street, and Commercial Street between Main Street East and Pearl Street. Entry to Carriage Square from Main Street and Commercial Street will also be closed, while access from Martin Street will remain open. The closures will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and vehicle owners are asked to move their cars from the affected areas.
Miracle on Main Street is hosted by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and the Halton Regional Police Service, supporting underserved youth across the region. The event encourages donations of new, unwrapped toys, cash, or gift cards. This year’s live event features amusement rides, entertainment, food vendors, handmade gifts, a petting zoo, pony rides, and other holiday activities. Admission is free with a new, unwrapped toy, and all donations will support children identified by local schools and community agencies.
The event runs Saturday, December 6th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. along Milton’s Main Street. Those wishing to partner or donate gift cards can contact miracleonmain@haltonpolice.ca or info@tjsf.ca.
