Halton Student Transportation Services (HSTS) says more school bus drivers are needed in select areas of Halton Region to help reduce service disruptions linked to temporary increases in driver absences.
The agency says the job is well suited for stay-at-home parents, retirees, or anyone with a flexible schedule who enjoys working with children. Those interested in becoming a school bus driver can find details here.
Regarding the ongoing delayed this school year, families are encouraged to sign up for delay and cancellation alerts through the Parent Portal or download the free BusPlanner Delays App for instant notifications. Daily delay listings are also available here.
