The Milton Menace had an up and down weekend.
On Friday, November 28th, the Menace welcomed in the Mississauga Chargers to the Milton Memorial Arena. It was the first match-up between the two teams of the season, with their last battle coming in the pre-season. It was an especially physical game, with the officials calling it after two periods of play. Read more here.
This game was never truly close, as the Menace scored first early in the opening frame. Tristan Tremble’s 8th of the season gave the Menace the lead, and proved to be the game winner.
Milton would also get goals from Ashtyn Pacheco, Easton Lynds, Dallys Hibbert, Alex Spadafora, a second from Tremble, and a hat trick from Alec Stewart. Menace Captain Graeme MacAuley also notably put up three assists for Milton. The Menace beat the Chargers 9-0.
It was a relatively light night for netminder Carter Froggett. He stopped all 15 shots he faced for the shutout win.

It was a quick turnaround for the Menace as they travelled to Etobicoke to play the first placed Toronto Patriots at the Westwood Arena.
While Toronto opened the scoring late in the first period, Milton was able to respond 34 seconds later. Gavin Sheehan buried his 3rd of the year, assisted by Tristan Tremble and Ashtyn Pacheco. It was 1-1 after 20 minutes of action.
In the second period, Toronto quickly took back the lead with two goals. Alex Spadafora then got one back with his 4th of the season, assisted by Dallys Hibbert and Marco Costante. Toronto led 3-2 after two periods of play.
The Patriots then added an insurance marker in the final frame, and Milton was unable to get back in the game. Toronto beat Milton 4-2.
Austin McKillop was the netminder for the Menace. He stopped 32 of 36 shots, giving him an .888% save percentage.
It won’t be a long wait for the Menace as they head to Georgetown to take on the Raiders at the Mold Masters Sportsplex on Tuesday, December 2nd. Game time is listed for 7:30 p.m.
They return home on Friday, December 5th to host the King Rebellion at the Milton Memorial Arena. Game time is listed for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
