The Halton Hills Public Library is set to host its third annual Winter Wonder celebration, offering families a full day of festive activities this coming weekend at both its Georgetown and Acton branches.
The event features seasonal crafts, creative activities, and special guests aimed at bringing the community together for winter fun.
At the Georgetown Branch, the day begins with the Zoo to You Travelling Exotic Animal Show at 11:00 a.m., followed by a meet-and-greet with the animals from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy snowflake crafts to decorate the Children’s Area, a winter scavenger hunt, letters to Santa, and festive green-screen photo sessions.
At the Acton Branch, guests can take part in hands-on activities throughout the day, including making bird feeders, crafting birdhouse ornaments, creating snowflakes, writing to Santa, and taking holiday green-screen photos.
Both locations will offer a warm, family-friendly atmosphere designed to help kick off the season.
That’s happening on Saturday, December 6th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Full schedules and details can be found here.
Visitors to Georgetown are also encouraged to stop by the Downtown Georgetown Holiday Market on Main Street from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to continue the celebration.
