A Burlington man has been arrested after an investigation at Burlington City Hall.
On Wednesday, November 26th, at roughly 1:15 p.m., a City of Burlington staff member received a telephone call from an upset man, during which the man made threats of physical harm towards City of Burlington employees.
Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) officers responded to Burlington City Hall and began an investigation into the incident. As a precaution, City Hall was closed and employees were sent home while the investigation was undertaken.
As a result, at roughly 8:15 p.m., the 37-year-old man was charged with one count of Utter Threats to Cause Death.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
