Milton Transit riders will see select fare increases starting next year.
It all starts on January 2nd, 2026, as the town moves to fund new routes, longer service hours, and improved schedule reliability. The cost of a 10-ticket pass will rise by $1 and monthly passes will increase by $3 for most riders and $2 for seniors, while cash fares will remain unchanged.
Under the new rates, adult cash fares stay at $4.25, with a monthly pass rising to $97. Youth cash fares also remain $4.25, with a monthly pass set at $73. Seniors will continue to pay $4.25 in cash, while monthly passes will cost $62.
Tickets and passes can be purchased through the Token Transit mobile app or from ticket agents, and riders can continue to pay exact cash on board.
