A 62-year-old Milton woman has been charged with driving while suspended following a traffic stop in Guelph this week.
Just before 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19th, a Guelph Police Service officer was patrolling on Woodlawn Road East when his cruiser’s automated licence plate reader detected a vehicle registered to a suspended driver. The car was stopped and the owner found to be behind the wheel.
Driving while suspended is a serious offence. A first time offender could face of a maximum up to $5000, as well as six months in prison.
