The Halton Regional Police Service (HRP) is investigating a pair of robberies from last week.
We reached out to the HRPS after seeing two robberies in Milton on the latest crime map.
An attempted robbery took place at roughly 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 13th at Brancier Jeweller, located at 1015 Bronte Street South in Milton. We’re told three male suspects with hammers and a crowbar attempted to enter the store by hitting the front door glass. The store was open but it requires a buzzer for entry. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled in a vehicle.
No injuries were reported and nothing was stolen from the store.
HRPS describes the suspects as:
- Males
- wearing hooded sweaters and masks
Another robbery was reported the next day at 12:03 p.m. on Friday, November 14th in the area of Harrop Drive and Steeles Avenue in Milton.
The investigation is ongoing, as the HRPS were unable to provide full details on the case.
It was not specified if the two cases were connected or related in any way.
