The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has charged a civilian employee following a criminal investigation.
42-year-old Ken Mackenzie of Guelph was arrested on Wednesday, November 5th. He was charged with:
- Fraud Over $5,000
- Obtaining Property by Deception
Police allege he posed as a female modeling scout on social media to obtain intimate images from adult victims, falsely promising payment that was never made.
The alleged activity involved the Instagram account @stephy_rk, and investigators believe there may be additional victims.
