The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a late-night shooting that occurred in Georgetown.
On Wednesday, October 29th, at roughly 10:30 p.m., police received a 911 call after witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area of Tenth Line and River Drive in Georgetown.
Officers responded quickly and located evidence confirming that a shooting had taken place. However, no victims or suspects were located at the scene.
A short time later, police were notified that two victims had attended a nearby hospital. Both victims sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.
Investigators are seeking dash cam footage from drivers who were in the area of Tenth Line and River Drive between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on the evening of October 29th.
