As Halloween approaches, Orkin Canada is reminding homeowners that the real fright this season may come from spiders, rodents, and other pests seeking warmth indoors.
The pest control company reports a rise in calls each fall as cooler weather drives infestations that can contaminate food, damage wiring, and pose health risks.
Experts recommend sealing cracks, clearing leaves and debris, and trimming overgrown vegetation to prevent pests from getting inside.
With Halloween spending at record highs, Orkin says prevention is key to avoiding a real-life haunted house.
