Area 8 Conservation Area in Milton (Cameron Wilkinson, 2022)
The Conservation Halton Foundation has successfully completed its $20 million Connected Campaign, the largest fundraising initiative in the organization’s history.
Running from 2020 to 2025, the campaign focused on expanding parks and greenspaces, enhancing biodiversity and resilience, and supporting education and community programs across Halton Region.
Funds will help protect 10,000 acres of conservation lands, add six kilometres of trails, and plant 63,000 trees and shrubs. The campaign also enabled environmental education for more than 17,000 youth and outreach to over 175,000 residents.
Conservation Halton thanked donors, government partners, and community leaders for their contributions.
