The Milton Public Library (MPL) is expanding its innovation offerings with the launch of a brand-new TechHub at the Sherwood Branch, designed to spark creativity and hands-on learning in the community.
The space features cutting-edge maker technologies, including a Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer, Cricut Maker 3 and Explore Air, Epson Sublimation Printer, Janome Sewing Machine, Mayku FormBox Vacuum Former, and more – all supported through MPL’s Intro to Tech certification programs.
To celebrate, MPL is hosting its annual Tech Fair on Saturday, October 25th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at their Sherwood branch. The free event will feature local organizations and industry exhibitors showcasing the latest in technology, innovation, and design, along with hands-on demos and interactive displays.
Last year’s Tech Fair drew over 1,000 attendees and 20 industry exhibitors, including the launch of MPL’s Tech Collect Project, which promotes sustainability by allowing residents to recycle old or unused technology. With the new TechHub and a strong lineup of community partners, MPL expects another successful and engaging event.
Find the Sherwood branch at 6355 Main Street West in Milton.
