In February, Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) will welcome a new group of international students, and local families are invited to play a key role in their journey!
Through a partnership with the Canada Homestay Network (CHN), HCDSB is looking for homestay hosts who can provide students with not only a safe place to live, but also the warmth of a Canadian home.
Host families provide a private bedroom, meals, WiFi, and a supportive environment, while CHN offers training, 24/7 emergency support, and a monthly stipend to help with expenses.
Families interested in learning more are encouraged to join a Virtual Information Session on Monday, October 27th at 7:00 p.m.
