The Barrie Police Service is investigating a robbery that took place in a wooded area near Little Avenue and Bayview Drive last week.
On Tuesday, October 7th, just after noon, officers briefly placed a nearby secondary school into lockdown as part of an investigation following a report.
Police arrested several students in connection with the incident, but after further investigation, detectives determined the youths were not involved. All were released unconditionally without charges.
The victim of the robbery was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the investigation remains ongoing.
