100 Women Who Care Milton is getting ready for their fourth and final gathering of 2025.
The group gets together to listen to presentations from three local charities. The group then votes and awards one charity with a donation from each member. Traditionally, the donation is $100 per member, but has been done on a ‘donate-what-you-can’ method since the pandemic.
In July, they chose Heartache2Hope as the awarded charity. $11,100 was given to the organization that “provides healing support to children, teens, and adults who have experienced a suicide loss.”
On Wednesday, October 22nd, they will head to Milton Banquet & Conference Centre at 3090 Steeles Avenue West in Milton. Dinner reservations are required for this event.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with dinner being served at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. It’s expected to run for roughly one hour.
