Conservation Halton is inviting residents to roll up their sleeves and take part in a community tree planting event at Carlisle Conservation Area next weekend.
On Saturday, October 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., volunteers will help plant native trees and shrubs to restore Bronte Creek and create critical habitat for aquatic species at risk.
This family-friendly activity is a great way to connect with nature, support local biodiversity, and make a hands-on difference in conservation efforts. Gloves and sturdy shoes are recommended for all participants.
Registration is free and open.
