The Town of Halton Hills is inviting residents to help protect local pollinators at a special community planting event later this month.
The Pollinator Meadow Planting Event, held in partnership with Credit Valley Conservation, aims to boost biodiversity and support vital species like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
Participants can choose from two time slots:
- 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
You are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and gardening clothes, and bring a water bottle. This hands-on experience offers a fun and meaningful way for residents of all ages to make a positive environmental impact.
That’s on Sunday, October 19th along Halton Hills Drive in Georgetown, right across from Town Hall.
The event is free to attend, though registration is appreciated.
