The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) are inviting the community to show their generosity at this year’s Cram-a-Cruiser food drive in support of the Fare Share Food Bank.
Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food and hygiene items to help local families in need. Items most needed include:
- menstrual products
- shampoo
- razors
- diapers
- wipes
- paper products
- household cleaners
- dish and laundry soap
- dried pasta
- pasta sauce
- canned fruits and vegetables
- cereal
- oatmeal
- spices
- school-safe snacks
Every donation helps fill a police cruiser with essential supplies and provides much-needed support to the Burlington Food Bank.
The event takes place on Saturday, October 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Real Canadian Superstore located at 201 Oak Park Boulevard in Oakville.
