Run for Milton is set to return for another morning of fundraising!
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) holds the event each year, featuring both a 5K run and a 1K fun walk. Organizers say the goal is not only to raise money, but also to unite the community around a cause that benefits local families for generations to come.
Run for Milton is part of a nationwide initiative by AMYA, with similar charity runs taking place across Canada. Last year, the event saw over 1,000 participants, dozens of volunteers, and strong sponsor support, helping to fuel its reputation as a key community fundraiser.
This year’s campaign has set a fundraising target of $50,000, with all proceeds going directly to the MDHF. The funds will support critical equipment, services, and improvements that enhance patient care.
The run will take place on Saturday, October 4th, at 11:00 a.m., at the Milton Community Sports Park, located at 805 Santa Maria Boulevard in Milton.
