With Canada Post workers on strike, mail delivery has been suspended nationwide.
Halton Region and the Town of Milton are reminding residents that key deadlines and services remain in effect.
Halton Region
- Mail dropped off after September 24th will not be processed during the strike.
- Residents waiting for mail from the Region can:
- Visit the Halton Regional Centre at 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
- Call 311 or email accesshalton@halton.ca for assistance.
Town of Milton
- Property taxes: Payments are still due on time; penalties apply for late payments. Register for eBilling, pre-authorized payments, or use alternate payment methods. Call 905-864-4142 or email taxes@milton.ca.
- Parking tickets: Must be paid within 30 days. No reminder notices will be mailed. Check ticket status at parking@milton.ca and pay online.
- Other services: Call 905-878-7252 or email info@milton.ca for program and payment options.
Officials say updates will be provided as the strike continues.
