The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is inviting families to a board-wide Secondary School Open House this weekend.
The event is open to students in Grades 6–10 and their families, offering an interactive way to explore academics, athletics, clubs, student life, and the many pathways available at HDSB secondary schools. Unlike a traditional information night, the open house will feature hands-on activities, student-led booths, and live engagement to showcase what makes HDSB schools vibrant and unique.
“We’re excited to welcome students, families, staff and community members,” says Curtis Ennis, HDSB’s Director of Education. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to see how our secondary schools support every student’s success, from academics and athletics to leadership, innovation and community involvement.”
To attend, families are asked to register online and select a preferred time slot. Parking is free but limited, with spots assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
It’s running from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27th, at Craig Kielburger Secondary School, located at 1151 Ferguson Drive in Milton.
