The Townsend Smith Foundation is inviting the community to its first Death Café of 2025, a unique event that provides space for open and thoughtful conversations about death.
This gathering is designed to be group-directed, allowing participants to freely share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a respectful and relaxed setting.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, located at 8959 Trafalgar Road in Milton. Light refreshments will be available, though attendees are welcome to bring their own.
Organizers say the goal of the Death Café is to help break down taboos around talking about death, creating an environment where people can reflect and connect.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
