Halton Hills is set to host its largest Culture Days celebration yet, marking 10 years of participation with more than 200 free events.
With the theme “Past. Present. Future.”, the festival will showcase workshops, performances, tours, exhibitions, and cultural experiences across the community.
“Our Culture Days events put our town on the map,” says Mayor Ann Lawlor. “Those of us fortunate to live here already know that we have a vibrant and rich arts and culture community, and this annual celebration serves as a showcase to those who attend.”
Highlights include Threads of Tradition: Phulkari Embroidery, Kindred Spirits Book Binding Workshop, Interactive Drumming & Indigenous Teaching, and the Glen Williams Bicentennial Fair. Residents can also enjoy musical performances by That Band, Crazy Chester, Liam Vickery, and the Halton Hills Concert Band, plus unique exhibitions like The Colours of HER-Story at the Helson Gallery.
Events will be happening from Friday, September 19th to Sunday, October 12th.
