Residents in Milton’s Ward 1 will soon have their first opportunity this weekend to cast a ballot ahead of next month’s by-election.
Eligible voters can vote at two locations:
- Sherwood Community Centre – 6355 Main Street West
- Nassagaweya Tennis Centre and Community Hall – 9267 Guelph Line
To vote, you must be a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and either a resident of Ward 1 or own or rent property there (or have a spouse who does).
Ward 1 residents are reminded to bring their voter notification card and valid identification showing name and address. Those who did not receive a voter card can still vote with proper ID.

- George Minakakis
- Shahbaz Khan

- Pat O’Reilly

Advance voting is set for Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Election Day will be on Monday, October 6th.
