The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) is once again inviting residents to roll up their sleeves and take part in Community Clean-up Week this fall.
From Monday, October 6th to Sunday, October 12th, community members are encouraged to help tackle waste, beautify public spaces, and support a cleaner, healthier town.
Participants can stop by the BWG Leisure Centre, located at 471 West Park Avenue, starting Wednesday, October 1st to pick up free Clean-up Kits while supplies last. Each kit includes:
- garbage bags
- gloves
- hand sanitizer
- instructions,
- safety tips
No registration is required, and kits are available during regular operating hours.
Residents can join the effort at any time during the week, choosing a day and location that works best for them. Safety is encouraged when planning clean-up activities, whether in local parks, trails, or community spaces.
The Town is also encouraging participants to share their impact online. Residents can post their before-and-after photos or videos, tagging @townofBWG and using the hashtag #BWGCommunityCleanUp to showcase their contributions.
