South Simcoe Police are investigating an attempted arson at two adjacent homes on Rowe Street in Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Bond Head community.
At aqround 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 7th, two unidentified suspects broke into the rear kitchens of 169 and 173 Rowe Street by smashing windows. The noise alerted nearby residents and private security, prompting the suspects to flee in a newer model blue SUV. At the scene, police recovered two jerry cans containing what is believed to be a liquid accelerant.
Investigators say this incident may be connected to a series of other arson-related occurrences in the Bond Head area.
