A motorcyclist is dead following a collision in Oakville this morning.
On Sunday, September 14th, at roughly 8:52 a.m., a blue Yamaha motorcycle was travelling northbound on Trafalgar Road. As the motorcycle was travelling through the intersection at Burnhamthorpe Road East, it collided with a black Acura RDX that was making a left turn from Trafalgar onto Burnhamthorpe. The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Acura SUV were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
