With the new school year underway, young families might be preparing for next year already.
The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is welcoming families to its Fall Kindergarten Open Houses, designed for children starting Kindergarten in September 2026. These events will give parents and guardians the chance to learn about HCDSB’s unique play- and inquiry-based Kindergarten program, meet staff, and connect with community partners. Representatives from Before & After School programs will also be available to answer questions.
Four Open Houses will be hosted across Halton this fall:
- Burlington – Thursday, October 2nd, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Elementary School
- Oakville – Wednesday, October 15th, at St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School
- Halton Hills – Thursday, October 23rd, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Elementary School
- Milton – Wednesday, November 5th, at St. Veronica Catholic Elementary School
Each session runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is open to all families, not just those zoned for the host school. School-specific details will be provided in 2026 once children are registered at their designated home school.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to sign up online to attend a session. The form is for planning purposes only.
