A Burlington woman has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following an overnight collision in Oakville.
At roughly 10:35 p.m. on Thursday, September 4th, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) was notified of a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Sixth Line in Oakville. The initial investigation indicates that a Honda minivan driven by a 52-year-old Oakville man was heading westbound on Dundas Street East before it attempted to make a left turn to go south onto Sixth Line. At that time, a KTM motorcycle driven by the 23-year-old Burlington woman was going eastbound on Dundas Street East proceeding straight through the intersection. The two vehicles collided within the intersection.
As of the latest update, the motorcycle rider is now in stable condition.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses or persons with dashboard camera footage in the area are asked to contact investigators at 905-825-4747 ext: 5065 orĀ CRU@HaltonPolice.ca.
