Conservation Halton is inviting residents to get hands-on with local restoration efforts at the Hidden Valley Invasive Plant Pull.
The event focuses on removing invasive plants to help restore biodiversity, strengthen the creekside habitat, and improve ecological corridors connecting Cootes Paradise to the Niagara Escarpment. Participants will work alongside other community members who share an interest in conservation, while also learning practical tips to manage invasive plants at home.
This volunteer event is a great way to make a meaningful impact on the environment while enjoying time outdoors. All ages are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary.
It’s happening on Tuesday, September 17th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hidden Valley Park, located at 1137 Hidden Valley Road in Burlington.
Registration is required.
